Although underpinned by academia, our unique consultancy services are derived from decades of real-world hands-on systems development experience, covering a wealth of knowledge. We have developed and helped to shape digital communications from its early inception through to current cutting edge systems.

Graham Peace
Director and Consultant

Graham Peace – is a chartered engineer (CEng FIET), Fellow of the IET, senior member of the IEEE (SMIEEE) and holds an MSc degree in Telecommunications from University College London (UCL). He has in excess of 34 years continuous professional software, systems and hardware experience, gained working internationally with many high profile clients, including GEC, Italtel, NEC, Panasonic Matsushita, AT&T Bell Laboratories, ip.access, Alcatel Lucent, Anite, Landis + Gyr and Toshiba.

 

His skill set includes IPR related expert knowledge (prior art search/analysis, patent/essentiality, FRAND), product implementation from the standards (3GPP 2G through to 4G and LTE-A, M2M, IoT, ITU-T, CCITT); real-time embedded software development for mobile communications and IP based systems, covering mobile phone handsets, base stations, eNodeB, networks, reference platforms, IOT test systems, IPv6, M2M (“Internet of Things”), automotive and motorsport solutions.

 

Graham has a strong mix of hardware, software and systems design and development experience, developing projects/features from marketing concept through prototyping to final production, launch and ongoing support, using both Agile and Waterfall methods.

 

Graham has invented and holds granted patents, relating to fixed and mobile Telecommunications. Graham has been awarded the Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon (CUBS) Civil Expert Witness Certificate (university accredited expert witness qualification).

Introduced in 2002, this is the first university accredited expert witness programme in the UK and is seen as the gold standard. Experts who hold this certificate are able to demonstrate to both instructing solicitors and the courts that not only have they undertaken specific expert witness training, but that they have been assessed and hold the core and requisite competencies to act as an expert.
